(headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Kazunori Asada) today announced the adoption of Eset NOD32 antivirus software for Canon's "Color imageRUNNER Workplace Gateway" controller which permits significant functional expansion and reinforcement of the color multifunction copier-based products to be available from Canon Inc. When connected with "iR C3220 / iR C3220N," the "Color imageRUNNER Workplace Gateway" controller greatly improves ease of use, operability, security management and system interaction. This product will be available in Japan, starting August 17th.
