ESET Expands Executive Team to Support Rapid Growth
Leading San Diego Security Company Appoints Industry Veteran Darin Andersen as Chief Operating Officer
SAN DIEGO - May 9, 2007 - ESET, the leader in proactive threat detection, today announced the appointment of Darin Andersen as chief operating officer. Andersen, who has served as a special advisor at ESET since 2005, brings more than 15 years executive management experience to his new role.
The addition of Andersen to ESET’s executive team will help support the company’s rapid growth. In his new role, he will work closely on strategic business development, manage the company’s day-to-day operations and ensure alignment among executive management on business priorities.

Prior to joining ESET, Andersen was president and founder of BIZDEV Direct, a San Diego company that provides executive-level services for small and mid-tier company including, business operations, development, marketing and sales, finance, and information technology. Andersen earned a master’s in business administration from University of Southern California, where he graduated cum laude. He also holds a master’s in information and operations management.
